STS offers a limited number of scholarships towards the cost of the programme fee to the students country of choice, for both August and January departures.  Our scholarships are 1,000.00, 2,000.00 or 3,000.00 dollars.

Applications for a scholarship will only be accepted from those students who do not have the financial means to provide the complete programme fee.  Parents will be asked to provide proof of income.

To qualify for consideration for a scholarship with STS High School Foundation the student must first make application to the programme and be accepted in the normal manner.

Students must mark very clearly on their application form the words "SCHOLARSHIP" and a scholarship application form will be sent to you with your stage 1 paper work that is sent to you after your initial application has been received by our head office in Invercargill.

Upon receipt of the scholarship application form the applicant must complete and submit same to the STS Head Office, P O Box 1399, Invercargill as soon as possible for consideration.

Applications for scholarships close at 4pm on 1 March 2012 for August 2012 departure and at 4pm on 1 July 2012 for January 2013 departure.

Those students who have been successful in securing a scholarship for the August 2012 departure will be notified by 1 April 2012.

Host and Go discount - $1,500.00 off the programme fee when your family hosts with STS for a semester or year.

Sibling discount - $500.00  off the programme fee if you have a sibling who has been on exchange with STS NZ.
